Many people have been misinformed about hackers. Most assume they know what a hacker is. If you do not respect hackers
then more than likely your definition of the term has been corrupted. After all if it was not for hackers there would be no
internet and you could not be reading my site

Franklin was famous for hacking with lightning. Tesla was shunned
for hacking up free electricity for the entire planet. Morse entertained
himself hacking with telegraphs.
Ken Thompson is a hacker. He wanted to play a game so he hacked up
an operating system.
Steve Wozniak, he wanted a computer, so he hacked one together.
Back in the mainframe world, one who could make software do stuff, that
it originally could not or did not have a function to do, by hacking up some
code during a smoke break, rather than taking six months to redesign
the beast.
Unix is a bunch of hacks, hacked up, to hack input and output, in and out
of other hacks, as hackingly as imaginable, a hacker's paradise and their
legacy.
The wannabe layman uses the word hacker, mostly with incompetence,
and hype. Imagine a genius.. a mad scientist..., an evil mastermind....!
Ooh, scary..... Interchangeable, yet even the naive aren't usually
learned to call every genius an evil mastermind. Guass, Einstein, Tesla,
D'vinci, King Sejong, Omar Khayyam and all the other evil masterminds
our planet has been plagued with, how dare you all have existed!
